After suffering a defeat against Croatia, the young Greens quickly bounced back.

Participating in a friendly tournament in Croatia to prepare for the upcoming U17 World Cup, the Algerian team triumphed against Hungary this Friday, winning 1-0.

This victory comes just days after the setback against the Croatian U18 team. Faced with a particularly strong European side, Amine Ghimouz's players were defeated 3-0. After holding firm until the 41st minute, the Algerians eventually conceded a goal from Jakov Dedic, followed by two more goals late in the match, scored by Endi Veljacic and Kenzo Brignone in his own net.

Following this tough match, the young internationals found their way back to victory against Hungary. In this match, the Greens showed seriousness and efficiency to secure their second win in the tournament, after their previous victory against Saudi Arabia (2-0) in their opening match.

The only goal of the match was credited to Kaddouri. The young Algerian positioned himself well at the edge of the box and attentively followed a first attempt from one of his teammates. As the Hungarian goalkeeper deflected the shot, Kaddouri quickly reacted to continue his effort and take advantage of the confusion of the opposing keeper. He managed to slide the ball into the net, securing a valuable victory for his team.

This success allows the Greens to regain confidence after their defeat against Croatia. Furthermore, this tournament provides them with the opportunity to face various styles of opponents before the big event in November in Qatar.

For reference, Algeria will participate in the U17 World Cup in Group J, alongside the United States, Montenegro, and Chile.
