Tawarka Union wins the derby against Al-Fateh.

Union Touarga kicked off the 2026-2027 season in the professional league with a 2-1 victory over FUS Rabat in a match held today at the city stadium in Rabat, as part of the first round.

The Touarga team opened the scoring in the 12th minute through Ayoub Ajrar, before Saad Lotfi added a second goal in the 28th minute, ending the first half with Union Touarga leading 2-0.

FUS Rabat sought to make a comeback in the second half and managed to reduce the deficit in the 70th minute when Montasser Lahitimi converted a penalty.

However, FUS Rabat could not equalize in the remaining minutes, and the match ended with Union Touarga winning 2-1, earning the Touarga team their first three points of the new season.
